Cool, Just what i've always wanted to have, Mac OS 7.6J

Hi, I got a PB150 back in Japan in August 1996 and I think it comes with System 7.1J. I'd have to go look for it though, for it is surely in storage somewhere.
Do you need the Japanese Language Kit?

My guess is that nmz502 was being sarcastic and doesn't actually have MacOS 7.6J.

If someone uploads it, please use an external Upload Service,
because jp Mac OS isn't very interesting for this site.

I'll see what I can do. I first have to make an image acc. to your specifications. I had just copied all of the files (minus demos) into a folder and stuffed them, but I suspect that you won't be happy with that.
I do owe you a favour for MacWrite Pro 1.5 and I haven't forgotten it.

Yep like those (the second auction is where I got the pics). But buying from Japanese auctions is very expensive so I'll happily settle for a CD image.

The link for 7.6J is dead.Is it because the file was not imaged with Toast?Unzipped file was without extention,so I added extention iso and burn it to CD.But when I tried to install from CD on BasiliskII, the installation quits in the middle.So I wanted to download the file again to check it out,but it's gone.The beta J-7.6b2,available on

I borrowed Performa6210 installer CD and its bundle CDs from my friend who used to have that Mac.The installer CD is machine specific,unable to use and read in sheepshaver.I tried to extract the files inside by Tomeviewer but failed.There were about 200 small files named Data1,Date2,etc.and they were not Tome files.I think unless you have a real Performa6210, or some kind of hack technique,you cannot read the files in CD.If you still need it,I'm going to borrow it again but I can't guarantee if I can make an iso out of it,as it is sometimes impossible to make an image file of old Mac CDs.
