I just got a blast from the past and I need help identifying this game.
It was like some board game and you'd move up a couple spaces on the black/white

Ohhh man. You totally triggered some super super vague memory in my mind with that picture. Wasn't there totally some mouse character in that game? Or something? I feel like it MAY have been an educational game as I seem to vaguely remember playing it in school. Black and white, Hypercard-powered (I believe), very 1990-1992 ish in my mind...
You may be thinking of "The Playroom" - made by Brøderbund. I played the DOS version around 1990, but I wouldn't be surprised if there were a Mac version as well. Check out screenshots of the DOS version here (4th screenshot down is of the mini-game that resembles your picture) http://www.abandonia.com/en/games/411/Playroom,+The.html
According to allgame, there was a Mac version of "The Playroom", and a hybrid Windows/Mac version.
That makes the possibility of finding a copy 1000x more likely.
Oops, and according to my DiskTracker library, I have a copy. Not original media, but an installed version that plays.
Is it worth uploading (if it's not already here) ? or does someone have original media ?
I remember The Backyard by Brøderbund, also I think in the same series. May have featured an anthropomorphic mouse. I last played it circa 1996, which, given I am in college now, was a long, long, time ago.
I have that too. Also not original media.
Maybe the OP wants to check and see if it's the game(
they're thinking of ?

So ? Are these the games you remember ?
I've been trying to remember what this game was since I was 5. It was the first thing I ever did on a computer. Thanks for sparking up some dead brain cells of mine
