I tried to download a file called SAMIntercept.sit from a user named HarryMatic. Somehow, the link was broken. I know it is an antivirus from symantec. Is there a link to downloading SAM, or I'll have to buy it?

Here is the link.
http://macintoshgarden.org/apps/sam-intercept
It seems the user removed it.
No, it's the well-known site error.
How could it be? Was the site amazon storage site? I've been wondering when will amazon fix this because I found it to be them.
Hold tight, I'll try and get it re-uploaded tomorrow. The Macintosh Classic which it is installed on is currently put away at the moment but I'll get it out soon.
Nevermind, I found it in my box of floppies. I've reuploaded it to the original page.
Thank you very much for re-uploading your copy of sam.
The Stuffit archive opens in the windows version, but in vmac, Stuffit says it is not readable. Can you help me out a little bit? I am currently using Stuffit lite.
Ok this WILL have to wait for tomorrow as I will have to find my copies of Stuffit 4 to recompress in a format you will be able to open.
Ok, I will wait for it.
Recompressed it in Stuffit 4 format which you should now be able to open. Redownload it as before.
Sorry for the late reply, I was sleeping at the time. It was like 4:00 or something, I wanted to tell you it really worked! I was able to install the control panel thing in the folder.
Update: I can not get it to work in System 6, works in system 7. The app is not openable in system 6, which is a control panel file. System 7 has that function. Have you tried it in System 8 as you said it might work in system 8 or mac os 8?
There is another thing, can anybody upload a powerpc version of SAM? I believe it is 4.5.
Recompressed it in Stuffit 4 format which you should now be able to open. Redownload it as before.
When an application or a game is compatible to Mini vMac and/or Mac System 6, please stay with this 'Stuffit 4 format' option, which is the best compatible option with it.
You Maybe right, I should stick with sam intercept for now. I could use norton antivirus. But as I came across an infected disk image containing the nivir a virus, the message from intercept came up, but with a button that I can't click on: Virus Clinic. What is it? A disinfecting tool as to be part of intercept? What does it look like? I know it's missing, and is there a place to where I can get it? It should be more customizable and effective than dsinfectant (I don't think disinfectant is powerful enough, I want to try SAM Virus Clinic just to compare.) Once again, if I need it, where can I get it?
Is there an answer? I don't think this question is hard to answer, right? It was 9 hours ago since I posted a question about virus clinic. What is it, really? Can someone be nice enough to upload SAM Virus Clinic 3.5, just for me to try if no one has time to answer that question? It is not like I can just go on the internet to search for SAM Virus Clinic. It is impossible. I get no, useful results. Just links to random sites. Maybe SAM is not abandonware at all! Probably it's still used by other companies.
Guesses are, Intercept is prevention, Virus Clinic is cure.
Well, maybe for virus removal, I could use disinfectant.
Disinfectant cannot find a virus that I have. Maybe a hypercard virus? I might have to get SAM Virus Clinic to remove that virus. Can anyone get SAM Virus Clinic uploaded so I can remove something suspicious? Disinfectant couldn't
