Need help with using Macintosh System 7.5.1 for Performa 5200 series in SheepShaver

I was wondering if anyone has figured out how to use Macintosh System 7.5.1 for Performa 5200 series in SheepShaver

On: http://macintoshgarden.org/apps/macintosh-system-751-performa-5200-series it says:
For Basilisk II or vMac users, please replace the System file with the Performa 631CD version, located at the Hard Disk Files folder (not this CD). In Basilisk II, use the high color mode. May work for other Performa 5200 and 6200 series. For SheepShaver, you need to update to System 7.5.3 instead via System 7.5 Update 2.0.

On: http://macintoshgarden.org/how-restore-the-performa-software it says:
- If the Performa CD is for 611x, 5xxx, 6xxx, the restore CD or hard disk will not boot in all emulators unless the System file is replaced to add 68K code from System 7.5 (excluding 6320cd+) or to update 7.5.3 or 7.5.5.

I'm not really sure what I need to do to make it work. I'm trying to recreate my old Performa 5215CD in SheepShaver. Does anyone have a step-by-step guide of how to use that specific restore disc in SheepShaver? I'd greatly appreciate it.

Sheepshaver requires 7.5.2 as a minimum.

So, can the Performa CD be used in SheepShaver? Do I have to replace some files on the CD with 7.5.2 files?

According to the last line of the Compatibilty section you have to update it to 7.5.3 to get it to work in Sheepshaver.

I guess you have to restore it onto a second drive in Sheepshaver and update that. I haven't used any of these Performa restore discs in Sheepshaver so I don't know the routine. But I'm sure someone else can probably show you the way.

Thanks for trying to help me with my problem. Yeah, I found Sheepmyshaver123's website & sent him an email (he had his email address on there). He's the one who uploaded that Performa CD & wrote that guide. So, hopefully he'll be able to help me a bit. Thanks again though.

I've uploaded the Mac OS 7.5.3 CD (I think it's made from these,) that was on the Pandora server to my Mediafire account. I've tested it and it works in SheepShaver.

Hello, I have the few solutions of your problem.

First, The ROM of your Performa 5215CD does not compatible in SheepShaver because SheepShaver only detects the PCI PowerMac ROM or New World ROM.

Second, the Performa CD that you have linked can be used in SheepShaver, but you need to update them to 7.5.3 using System 7.5 Update 2.0 (available from Apple Support) to use it. The contents inside the Hard Disk Files folder must be copied to the hard drive, rename it to:
Applications Items -> Applications
Apple Extras Items -> Apple Extras
Documents Items -> Documents
System Folder Items -> System Folder
...move the Documents folder to the desktop and create the alias of the Launcher (System Folder -> Control Panels -> Launcher) to the desktop.
