MegaPhone 2.0.5 Pro for Performa

Hello everyone!

So I encountered this website a few years ago and fell in awe with it, since I have a old Mac and lost some files a long time ago. Anyways, there is this program called MegaPhone, which is a telephone for the Mac. However, the company went out of business a long time ago, and a company called The MegaPhone Company, hasn't been maintaining their website as emails bounce back to me (maybe this company went out of business too). I was wondering if anyone has a name and key so I can enable the pro features in MegaPhone? It would be nice because I cannot buy this software anymore but it works so well.

Thanks!

I have a MegaPhone 209P "updater" which is 3 1.4MB install disk (images) and a selection of documentation. Came on the March 1998 cover CD of MacWorld.

Does this sound like a possibility ?

Maybe... does it include a "key" for remote retrieval? If you don't know, just send it to me. Thanks!

Pulled them from the CD disc image, checked them, disc 2 and 3 mount fine, disc 1 image looks corrupt, it doesn't mount - invalid checksum. So I'll go back tot he original CD and try again.

Good news, bad news and good news. And I suppose more good news ...

Good news 1. Thought it would take me a week to find thephysical CD in my library of thousands. Picked a group of 3 at random, MacWorld March 98 was the first one.
Bad news. Nothing can mount the first disc image. DiskImageMounter and Disk Copy 6.3.3 and 4.2 (which I think this has been made in - suffix is .image) all complain of invalid checksum.
Good news 2. I started up OSX Disk Utility, and dragged the locked disc image file into the pane on the left. I could then selet it and verify it (no errors). I then selected "Open" from the "Images" menu. It mounted fine.
Good news 3. It's on MegaUpload http://www.megaupload.com/?d=DLXFSD2A
