Macgeek417's Apple ISOs

http://macgeek417.uni.cc

All of the ISOs of the Apple CDs are available above, get it now.

Note 1: Macgeek417's website has been lost trivial and the forum posts has gone. This means the website has built back from scratch. Links to all Apple ISOs are coming soon, either Rapidshare, Hotfile, or mediafire.

Note 2: Links are available in my mediafire archive located here. And also, the host has been down, new forum are available.

Note 3: The website is back!

As far as I know WinZip can open Mac OS X zips. Give it a try.

I've tried but not work again. Here is the error for the Apple Applications Recovery.zip:

Error in file #1: bad zip file offset (error local header signature not found): disk #1 offset: 0

and the Power Macintosh 7500 and 8500 CD.zip:

Invaild compressed data to expand (inflate) the file.

Now what?

The "Apple Applications Recovery Disk" can be mounted with Toast.
However the links for System Recovery 1 and 2 are down...

According to my PM 7500 and 8500 CD download, it's valid and good. Now I can upload the disk images.

I can't burn the ISOs.for Service Source and/or Power Mac 7500. I use Linux, K3B says "seems to not be a usable format".

Appears dropbox has blocked the links for the SSW CD's 1 + 2 CD's.

Apple System Software Recovery 3 isn't really what it says it is. It's a Mac OS 9 Retail CD.

Reply from OSX2000:

Yup, the AppleCare staff makes the SSW Recovery 3 is just like the retail Mac OS 9 CD and it's identical from the retail CD.

Which one is the 8.6-booting disc loaded with system software recovery from 8.1-9.0.4? Is that disc 2 then?

I have a physical copy of it, dated May 2000, that I'll offer up an image of if you don't already have that one.

It's up. Sorry for the delay, but trying to rip in from my MacBook and Mac Mini both warped the disc slightly out of its flat shape and gave errors...yikes. It was flat again after it cooled off, and ripping it with my G4's slower drive worked perfect.

It should be back up in a day or 2, the host had some server issues and are transfering some of the accounts to another server to lighten the load...

Oh, yes I CAN use the RAW ISO file: I mount the RAW ISO file as a loopback device under Linux.

mount Apple_Legacy_CD.iso -t hfs -o loop /mnt/Apple/

I keep forgetting that I can do that. Somebody please whack me if I say anything more about this RAW ISO problem.

Hm, someone seems to be severely opposing macgeek417's servers, for what reason ever. Good to know, all files are (again) available at the usual site in Texas.
