I have found an interesting link: 500 MB software emulation set for Mac OS 7.5.3. I have not yet checked the contents so I can't say whether there is anything new. It is 7z archived.

I have found an interesting link: 500 MB software emulation set for Mac OS 7.5.3. I have not yet checked the contents so I can't say whether there is anything new. It is 7z archived.
It was loaded with applications such as Adobe Photoshop 1.0, Adobe Illustrator 3.0, Microsoft Word 3.0 & 4.0, Claris Works, MacDraw, Freehand 3.1, QuarkXpress 2.1, and Cubase 2.5. More inside if you take a look.
Also this: http://osvirtual.net/en/macos-9-0-4-with-additional-software/
This one is for SheepShaver, it has Mac OS 9.0.4 with Acrobat Reader 5.0.5, Netscape Navigator 7.02, AppleWorks 5.0.3, Toast Titanium 5.0.1, iTunes 2.0.4, StuffIt Deluxe 7.0.3, Graphic Converter 5.9.5, Transmit 1.7 FTP, and Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.5.
Quite interesting finding, xy!
I will mirror the 7.5.3 thing on Megaupload as a Stuffit 3.5 archive.

The big dsk1 holds System7.5.3 with Eyeballs, Popchar, AfterDark, 406 games and 97 apps.
Nice collection, I think. It is also bootable with BII.
Dsk2 and 3 are System6 HD floppy images.
Thanks very much for changing this into a sit archive, 24bit. I was not able to unarchive the 7z archive even with an Ubuntu Live CD (in a previous comment of my somewhere else I thought this would work).
I upped the OS9 image file from the osvirtual as well, in case you want to look at it.
I did not discover anything especially useful, but it may be a good starting point for someone running SheepShaver for the first time.
9800.img.sit (261.91 MB)

Thanks for the external mirror, but my ISP did not like Megaupload.
Megaupload download of Mac OS 7.5.3 package workd fine. Haven't tried (and will not try) Mac OS 9 package. Most of the stuff in the Mac OS 7.5.3 package is not new to MacGarden. However, there are some cute items of totalling about 50 MB that are rare or not on MacGarden, for instance, French QuarkExpress 2.1.
It does the same. All Megaupload links did not work for my connection and permanently blocked currently.
You can look at my: http://macintoshgarden.org/apps/macintosh-system-755-emulation-disk-image
Oh no, it's Megaupload again. My connection permanently block Megaupload so can you give me another mirror?
If you have Windows, try Megaupload Download Manager software
@sheepmyshaver123: What about the original osvirtual net links? Can't you get those from there?
Anyway, I can put the 7.5.3 one (.sit) up on Rapidshare if you can DL from there. BTW. It doesn't appear to be bootable. I tried it on Basilisk and Sheepshaver... Didn't attempt it on Mini vMac. I DL'd from 24bit's link.
I'll try "blessing" the System Folder.
[Edit] Yes, (for me) System folder required "blessing" before it would boot in Basilisk II. Got to meet "Marsupilami" once it booted
Has "spinning" Apple Menu and "Follow the cursor Eyes" in menu, on 1st look.
Can re-package and upload if you want it. In any format required... zip, iso, sit, etc.
Hm, weird you could not boot the image with BII, Mike. SheepShaver can not boot with it, however.
The system lacks some files for BasiliskII of course. I couln´t find a Monitors control panel for example, but you would hardly need one with MiniVMac.
Oops, cross posts at same time. For BII I needed to "bless" the System folder, after that it was OK. I think this was originally intended for 68000 cpu (Mini vMac) to begin with. Boots OK on BII after "blessing". Thanks for your uploads, too.
[Edit] I first needed to mount the 7.5.3 image as a secondary drive in order to "bless" it, before I could boot from it. i.e; I needed an already working BII to do this, before I could use this disk image as a primary boot disk in BII.
I will try them again. Also, osvirtual has the Rapidshare links too.
