Error unstuffing Beyond Dark Castle

I'm running Basilisk II v1.0 with Stuffit Expander 5.5 and I'm getting an error when I try to unstuff Beyond Dark Castle. The exact error is "The ShrinkWrap engine has reported an error. Error -39". Anyone else have probems with this particular game file or this kind of error? I really want to get this game going!

No, but Try to download it from here:

http://www.grenier-du-mac.net/fiches/Beyond-darkcastle.htm

The page is in French but the game is in English
in order to download click: Télécharger = Download
at the bottom of the page.

StuffIt Expander acts funny under emulation. I had no problem unstuffing the file so I can send it to you in another format. Are you using Mac OS X or Windows?

I tried downloading it from the French site, and that didn't work either! When it unstuffed the file it just made a .jpg called 'Beyond DC test' or something along those lines.

MacWise if you could send it to me that would be awesome. I am using Windows.

That's really strange, I just tried both downloads, (from here and the French site)
and both work fine..
I am using Stuffit version 5

BTW, I'm Playing it within Basilisk, not vMac.

So I'm thinking your Stuffit program has been corrupted (it happened once to me)
and I just re-Installed it.

Man, I'm trying to download new versions of both Stuffit and BDC but nothing's working. Stuffit seems to be working fine for all the other files on this site. Does anyone have this game on a disk image that they could send me?

All righty Jack, the file's been sent. It's a DiskDup+ file so you can unzip it directly on Windows and then mount it as a disk image on your emulator.

By the way, Euryale's theory is possible, but I think it's the file itself. I checked it with ResEdit and the resource fork is missing. That's fatal for a Disk Copy image.

Yeah, I think so. I've been able to successfully unstuff files from this site with no problem, so I assume that it's the file.
