I am getting this error message all of a sudden. Can someone tell what is causing this or how to fix it? "This operation has failed because an error occurred: expected number here. In mouseup. Please contact the author or publisher of this stack for assistance."

Stack? MouseUp? Then (I'm sure) you're talking about HyperCard?
Probably the Mac OS version is too new to execute this piece.

Both have same operating system 9.2.2 one is pbg3 and other is ibookg3.

In what program are you getting this error? That's definitely a HyperCard error message. Probably the software/game was developed using HyperCard. It may indeed have something to do with your OS being too new, although that would surprise me. I can test it on System 7.5 for you if you'd like.
