Can't get Math for the Real World to Mount (Sheepshaver)

http://macintoshgarden.org/games/math-the-real-world

I've been reliving a lot of memories thanks to Macintosh Garden (Kid Pix, New Math Blaster Plus, and other "games" that were played back in elementary school), and I was thrilled to see that someone uploaded this game. However, I can't seem to get it to work.

If I expand the .sit in OS9, I get an Audio folder and a "Math for the Real World•image" file. If I attempt to mount the file in Toast, I get an error saying that Toast couldn't detect the format of the file, and a few options to play around with involving Pregap, Postgap, and Sector Size... It seems no matter what I play with, I get a "Couldn't complete the last command because there was an I/O error, code -36" message box.

Trying to expand the .sit in OS 10.5 and moving it to the "unix" share gives me the same result... I even get the Audio tracks in 10.5, but I can't seem to do anything with the image. What should I do from here?

Second, add the image file to the SheepShaver's drives list like its "boot" drive.

Thanks for helping.

All that gets me is a message saying that the disk is unreadable by this computer, and asks me to reformat the disk.

There's a comment that mentions the audio tracks were missing and adds a Megaupload file, but it's something like the Lost Mind of Dr. Brain. Since I have an actual Mac OS 9 computer, and an actual Mac OS X system, I tried it.

First, I tried renaming it from •image to .image, because the • could cause problems.

It has no mountable file systems. That basically means that it was a hybrid disc that was incorrectly copied. Sorry. It will have to be fixed somehow or reuploaded.

Aw, rats...

Well, thanks for the quick responses, everyone. Guess I'll be waiting for someone to track down the original or I'll be searching for it myself. At least I have a few aiffs to listen to.

The image file is blank. It's all zeroes.

This is embarrassing.

I uploaded both of those, maybe I need advice, because I've had those on my computer for a while (I have the CDs too) they still work for me. I used the Virtual CD/DVD program and then Dropstuff in OS9.

If the images still work for you, maybe there was a hiccup on Megaupload's end that corrupted it? I don't know, I kinda just found out about Sheepshaver and the like last week, so I'm not the best guy to ask...

Is it really on a hybrid disk? I've seen disks that are distinctly Windows, and I think that the disk I used back in the day was Mac-only, but it's been skippy mcGee since I've seen it.

I know it takes quite a while to get things in order, but is there any way you could please recreate or reupload the iso? I'm kind of nervous about buying a copy, only to have things turn up fixed a few weeks later.
