Hello all,
I been constantly searching the internet for this program, and found nothing but dull web pages and updaters. I don't want updaters! Does anybody have FoolProof Desktop Security for Mac OS?! Any version will do, thanks!

They had FoolProof at my school many years ago. I have a bunch of FP hacking programs, text files, but I also have two archives with the installers for version 3.5. However, for some reason they are encrypted with a password and I can't remember if I put the password on or if they came that way from the place I downloaded it from.
I once wrote a brute-force Stuffit password application, so if I can get that running again I may try to break back into the archive and upload it if no one else can fulfill this.

I remember that. I should have it on a backup disk somewhere. Soon enough I'll be going through all that stuff, so I'll try to remember to post FileGuard if I find a copy.
Oh yeah they had it at my school too, I got some good notoriety for hacking it and putting my name onto the Administrators user list on the login screen

Hi, I'm ridiculously late on this, but this is as best as I could find from my archives.
I have uploaded FoolProof 2.5 and 3.2 to http://www.megaupload.com/?d=OR9633GD
Note: These are raw Control Panel/Extensions/Preferences pulled from my HS and a nearby Art Center from about a decade ago. I recall breaking into my HS FoolProof (password in a file in archive) but not the Art Center.
Classic won't load 3.2 because it is too new, so this may not be of much help. I still haven't gotten into the 3.5 installer archive. Once I can get it, I'll compile the versions I have and the hacking guides/tools into a real entry on MG. Otherwise, feel free to let me know how this works for you. I might try to build a Basilik VM for trying it under Mac OS 7 or something too.

If you happen to have the archives 'as is' are you able to post? I may know the password from the original SIT from years ago from Smart Stuff

Hi, I have uploaded the password protect FoolProof archives. It took me a while to locate them in my archives. I will be attempting to break the password with my ridiculously slow tool - but if anyone has the password, do try it against these archives and let me know if they work/the password. If I break them, I'll let you know!

Update - Password for the installer archive was found, the Docs are still unknown.
