Download de MacMame Emulator (from this site) and then get the PacMan ROM
(which is really easy to find)
and VOILA! you'll have the Original Pac Man running in you Mac.

Macman Classic Pro ?

If it's not available via Google, or any of the usual sites, I'll try to find where my copy came from (Mac magazine of book probably) and I'll upload a fresh copy here.

PacTheMan is sorta like the original, but for the true original feel, as Euryale said, MacMAME and the ROM
are the best.

I will only post the MAME ROMS upon request,
but I'm not sure if that's legal (I think is not legal)

Its Ilegal to post MAME rom links (loophole!), Google "PacMan MAME rom" or "MAME roms" and you should come upon a site for MAME Roms. You should get the most modern version of macmame you can run on mac os 8.6 to ensure the most compatibility with ROMS,

You can get Macmame at: http://macmame.org/
PacTheMan is here(somewhere) use the search bar at the top to find it.

The Best thing about MacMAME is that you can run all the arcade greats(as long as you can find the ROMS.)

No sound in astriods means that the person who ported it didn't take time to do the sound port.

For some MAME roms, you need to download the sound samples separately and put them in the proper directory. It depends on what version of MAME it is. They are usually in a .zip file. I see there are some here:
http://www.arcadeathome.com/mamewav.phtml
Though I can't remember where I found mine.

sorry schoolhacker, along with my Wii, PS1, NES, MegaDrive, Dreamcast, 2xPCs, 3xMacs - I cannot afford it, and I hated the first two halo games anyway... and I cannot play any type of FPS with a gamepad - uuuurch...

My next game system may be the Wii-HD, if it is ever released - or maybe the PS3, but I only have full 1080P HD on my computer monitor, which ONLY has VGA/DVI connectors (DOH! knew it was cheap for a reason). If I can get a HDMI -> DVI converter (I have the opposite), then the PS3 might be the way to go (does XBox360 have BlueRay playback yet?)
